By Air
Mount Abu does not have an airport of its own. The nearest airport from
here is Udaipur, which is situated at a distance of 185 km. The airport
operates direct flights to and from Delhi, Mumbai and Jaipur on a
regular basis. A number of private airlines ply from here for the
convenience of the visitors.
By Train
The nearest railway head from Mount Abu is situated at Abu Road. This
is at a distance of around 22 km from the hill station. This connects
the hill station via a broad gauge line. It lies on the main Indian
Railway line between Delhi and Ahmedabad. Besides, there are direct
trains from here, connecting Mount Abu to major cities like Ajmer,
Jodhpur, Jaipur and Ahmedabad.
By Road
Mount Abu is well connected to all the major parts of the country via a
good network of roads. There are a number of options available, in case
you wish to travel by road. Rajasthan Roadways runs comfortable deluxe
buses from Jaipur and Abu Road to Mount Abu. Apart from this, there are
frequent bus services to cities like Delhi, Udaipur, Ajmer, Bundi and
Udaipur. As a personal transportation option, you can even hire taxis to
reach the hill station.
